Hmmm Djinn magic seems very harm and curse oriented, Howlers are beings whose sole purpose is to hunt and scream at you a lot, Djinn are tied to the ghosts and Cursed Realm, Hazza D'ur, despite being only a skeleton, has the eerie ghostly glow Ninjaghosts have, Bansha's purpose is to hunt and scream at you a lot... there's certainly a puzzle to be pieced together but the puzzle is very rough and blurry...

For Transcendant AU, is the Preeminent a god of like, herself? Or are her and the Cursed Realm somehow separate? Also, how are the Cursed Realm and Djinnjago related? (I hope u don't mind answering I'm a HUGE fan of this AU!!!!)
oohhh a good one *cracks knuckles*
So in transcendent au, there are many creatures that actually come from the space between the realms, though how exactly they came to be is a mystery. Most of these creatures are gigantic, hyper-intelligent, and incomprehensible to the eyes of those who live within the realms. Many, if not all, also feed on the realms in some way. Meowthra is one of these creatures, though she is not inherently hostile, as well as the great devourer.
The preeminent is also one of these creatures, and she is probably one of the most powerful known to the people within the realms, because she has already succeeded in devouring an existing realm and it's god. The cursed realm is what remains of djinnjago's old sister realm, the memory of what it was before it was devoured long forgotten. By consuming its god, she was able to take control of it, cursing its inhabitants to become her servants, to aid her in finding a way into the other realms to consume them as well. In essence, the entire function of the cursed realm is just a very complex, otherworldly way of hunting and digesting her food.
The gods actually struggle to be around her due to her existence being so antithetical to their own. It's like a prey's natural instinct to run from a predator. Underworld god struggles especially, as the way she curses dead souls is a perversion of the natural way they should go when they die. He instinctively weeps in the presence of ghosts.

Realm Headcannons!
Ok, so I needed something to help cheer myself up a little, so everyone gets some deep lore headcannons about Ninjago's 16 Realms!
Most of the realms are really a full planet, and exist in their own independent star systems.
Some of the realms exist in other dimensions, or perhaps in their own pocket universes?
A few of those realms share the same star system with other realms (such as the Cursed Realm and Djinnjago).
It's totally possible to travel most (if not all, in one way or another) by spaceship.
Since no one on Ninjago seems to have the tech to travel faster than the speed of light, traveler's tea is still the only practical way to travel between realms.
When Ninjago was terraformed (Jago-formed?), the FSM gave everyone from all of the realms he'd visited the chance to come and live there.
Of all of the people who the FSM invited, only the people from a few worlds actually followed him to Ninjago.
The Djinn were forbidden from ever coming to Ninjago.
The FSM personally saw to it that every Djinn he found was returned to Djinnjago, or neutralized in some other way (like with the scrolls of Forbidden Spinjitsu).
At one time, the First Realm was the most technologically advanced world of all the realms.
It was the war between the Dragons and Oni that reduced it to a Mad Max-styled wasteland.
No one knows who created the realms, or how, if it wasn't the FSM, but many who don't worship the FSM believe that there's some other divine power and/or powers which chooses not to be seen (for what everyone can tell is apparently a very good reason).

Yeah I think that’s basically what sister realms means, like they are kinda natural opposites (being cursed vs being blessed) and can’t exist with out each other. So Djinnjago is reforming at the same rate of the cursed realm. Also it’s interesting that the way djinnjago is designed it’s just a bunch of floating islands and the cursed realm has a bunch of tendrils that would be able to hang onto these islands and move around them.
Theory that djinnjago has like barely any gravity so things just be floating. I wonder if there is any water there as well, it seems to based in a desert climate so maybe not? Good for the cursed realm. That also brings up if djinn or ghosts need to eat. Do they even have food there?
I’m going to say naturally formed djinn and ghosts are going to appear as well once the realms stabalize. There’s a definite difference between natural ghost and cursed ones (the cursed have legs while naturals don’t). And natural djinn are almost all that exist (genies are artificial djinn and very rare). I would love to explore the culture and civilization of these two realms.
Let’s not forget to incorporate things that are already known about djinn and ghosts. There is already a deep history for both and involving those attributes into the world of ninjago would make it so much more in dept. For example I already know djinn exist in dnd in a multitude of forms, they come from an elemental plane and have different names depending on their powers (djinn are air while marid are water). So djinn might have elemental powers as well??
Finally, both realms seem to be very battle oriented. A lot of stuff we know about them comes from trying to conquer others. Ghost have special abilities for fighting like arrows and djinn have the sword of souls. I wonder why this is~
